How To Add Gadgets/Widgets To Blogger

Add a Widget to blogger

In WordPress there is an option as “plugin” to enhance our blog functions and features. But if you are use blogger flat form, don’t worry there is also available some widgets to blogger. Widgets/Gadgets are applications that can be added to a website to enhance its functions. Widgets come in multiple forms, such as AdSense, Images, Video bar or social media applications. Some widgets help to listing your blog followers or allowing readers to subscribe to your blog. Here are steps to "add a widget to Blogger".

Log in to your Blogger account:

Once you are logged in, make sure you are at your Blogger's Dashboard which is nothing but, you want to add widget, otherwise click on the "Dashboard" and select that blog.

Click on the “Layout”:

After selecting your blog, click on the "Layout" which will take you to the Layout page. Then click on "Add a Gadget." Where ever you want to add gadget.

Choose a widget/gadget:

A pop-up window will appear with the list of all the gadgets available to you. You also search for the name for a specific gadget, or you can browse by categories in More Gadgets, which are contributed by third-party developers for Blogger and also you can add your own widgets.

Add the widget:

After find the widget you want to add then click on the blue plus sign symbol to add it to your blog's layout. And next click on the save button at the bottom pop-up window page.

HTML and JavaScript widget:

Add a custom widget by using the HTML and JavaScript widget. The HTML and JavaScript widget allows you to add or paste HTML/Java Script code to your blog.
